Entrust Capital Advisors was established in 2008 when its two partners recognized how their unique gifts, abilities, experience, personalities and training could be used to help others navigate through complex and challenging capital transactions. There is true synergy represented by the Entrust Capital Team that makes Entrust Capital Advisors more than just the sum of the parts.
L. Nolan Duck – In January of 2006, Nolan Duck founded Duck Business Acquisitions. That year he sold his first multi-million dollar business and has successfully guided other business owners through this process. Nolan earned a BA degree in history with a minor in finance from the University of Arkansas, but then went to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he received two Master degrees and a Doctorate. He also has 35 years of ministry experience as Senior Pastor of Baptist Churches in Alabama and Texas. Nolan is an active Rotarian and serves on several non-profit boards. Nolan and his wife, Nancy, have been married for 25 years, have a daughter and a son, and are active members of the First Baptist Church, in Richardson, Texas.

Carl W. Hefton – Carl has over 30 years of business experience most recently (prior to forming Entrust Capital Advisors) serving as CEO and President of Viscern, Inc. During Carl's tenure, Viscern's sales grew from $3,000,000 to over $40,000,000 while Viscern provided fund raising consulting services to over 10,000 clients, primarily in North America. Viscern partnered with these clients to raise in excess of $12 billion. Viscern was named one of the 100 fastest growing companies in the Dallas/Fort Worth areas in 2000, 2001 and 2004. Carl led the effort with the counsel of Bear Stearns to sell Viscern to a private equity group in 2005. Prior to joining Viscern in 1986, Carl was a CPA and senior manager with Arthur Andersen & Co. Carl is a licensed Realtor, a board member at Richardson Regional Medical Center, an active volunteer, and has held numerous leadership positions at The Heights Church in Richardson, Texas where he and his wife, Gail, have been members since 1975. The Hefton’s have been married for 34 years and have 3 sons, 2 daughters-in-law and 1 grandson.
